Simple Machines and Building
Simple machines are everywhere! Look at examples in your home (screw, pulley, wheel and axle, lever, wedge and inclined plane) and talk about how they help us. Can you go on a simple machine hunt around your house or neighborhood? Take pictures or make drawings of the simple machines you find!
How can we help?
When children feel like they are an important part of a community, they are more secure and confident to explore. Talk about your family as a community. What can family members do to help each other feel loved and appreciated? Celebrate as you help each other out and encourage your child to find ways to help throughout the day!
